Died at the Saint François d'Assise Hospital in Quebec, on June 7, 2007, at the age of 89, Doctor William L. Delaney, husband by first marriage of the late Kathleen Hall Kelly and by second marriage of the late Rosemary (Posy) Power Cannon. He resided in Sillery.

A religious ceremony will follow at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of the Complexe. Burial will follow at a later date in St. Patrick’s cemetery.

He leaves to mourn his daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Jack Beausoleil, his stepsons Frank Cannon (Céline Myrand) and Lawrence Cannon (Christine Donoghue) and their children, his brother Frederick Delaney (Margaret Boyle) and his nephew William H. Delaney, his nephews and niece Peter Ross (Frances Aird), Anne Ross and David Ross (Deborah Coughlin) and their children.

The family wishes to specially thank for their wonderful care the personnel of the 5th and 6th floors of the Saint François d'Assise Hospital.
